Biography and Research Interests

I have a PhD (Durham) in cold atomic physics, followed by postdoctoral positions in Southampton and Otago. I work on Bayesian methods applied to sensors and control systems and have done research on Bose-Einstein condensates and nonlinear classical and quantum dynamics.

My work on Bayesian algorithms has resulted in prototype measurement devices, including those for dynamical weighing and GPS positioning.
