Biography and Research Interests

I have a PhD (Durham) in cold atomic physics, followed by a postdoctoral positions in Southampton and Otago. This work concentrated on Bose-Einstein condensates and nonlinear classical and quantum dynamics. My current interests include Bayesian methods applied to sensors and control systems. The resulting algorithms are embedded in measurement devices, including those for dynamical weighing and GPS positioning.
